There are many things that will take place within the location including the action. We plan on filming a wide range of the song within this particular area as the indie artist matches the overall persona of the area in Camden. We are planning to let the artist 'busking' (perform in camden market) which shows the artist performing in a built up area. This is essential when we plan our music video as it makes the artist look relatable to her audience as this is a normal thing that people do to show off their talent as a performer and as a vocalist. This location, despite being built up, isn't one of the most wealthiest of areas, but this could possibly connect the artist with the audience as they could relate to her 'poor' lifestyle, and also they could connect to her by a musician wa
y, as the audience could of done 'busking' before in their life in order to earn some money in difficult times.
The other action that could possibly take place in this particular music video is when they take pictures together on a night out in Camden. This shows the nightlife of Camden lock and the relationship between the pair. This shows that the pair are outgoing and love to live their lives to the full. It is essential we use this location for this particular action piece, because it shows a pair together in somewhere that can be portrayed as being poor and unique, as people that can enjoy their love together in any location they visit. It could connect the audience with the artist as it could be a location they have visited before and therefore want to go a see the video more so that they can feel connected with the artist as the artist was in the area they visited. This shows the style of the music video to be fun and true aswell as they are showing the personality of the artist through the use of the lifestyle we are trying to portray, the style here is to show the fun side of the artist and how she could possibly relate to the audience in ways which she enjoys herself and she is out to have fun. The style is to portray the artist in a more positive light than what they usually would in other music videos. This style o believe would create a better relationship with the audience as is shows the artist as somebody who enjoys herself and is relatble in the sense that she wants everybody including her fans to enjoy life just like she enjoys her music and her nightlife and her relationship with the partner. This also links in with the style of our music video as it shows that i am following the stereotypes of the indie genre, this meaning the natural style i am trying to create is shown through the setting because i am not creating a new setting, i am using what the world had create and using the elements such as the rivers and the streets that are available to use at no extra cost. This style then links with our product of naturability as the whole entire genre of indie is also natural and therefore makes it more easy for the audience to be able to connect with if the style ad everything connects with the genre.
This location in Camden can limit what we can do in our music video as where we are in a public area and the people in the background could be unpredictable and try to disturb our filming. This could result into a problem for us as we will then not be able to get enough filming done, and also limit us to our narrative as we will be following a plan that we created as a group and this then could result into problems between the group such as decision making etc. The people in the background could make our work unprofessional and try to make fun of our work, and this could drive us out of the location as we may feel the pressure of filming in such a public are could effect our entire music video.

of bad weather. This then limits us with the facilities we can then use as we will have no functioning equipment in order to film our music video. This then leads to us not having enough time to get our music video made in time and finalised quick enough to summit as we may not have enough footage to use throughout the entire music video and therefore the same different locations will be used instead of having a variety of different locations. The back up plans in result of bad weather is to film in someone with more cover, possibly under shelter but not inside as we are committed to film outside. To protect the equipment we could put bin liners over them to stop them getting wet, and put them underneath umbrellas to keep ourselves dry when filming and the equipment to stop any damage occurring.
This links in with our naturalistic style/approach to my music video as i am ususing real people reactions to what were filming. This shows that real people may react in different ways to the situations that we include within my music video and that by using their reactions within this music video it lets the audience see what other people in the area can see alo and how they can react to the scenarios also. This ahaoom shows my style of my music video as being conventional as it is showing the setting as being very natural and realistic for my audience.
There are many health and safety risks that we have to think about before filming in order to overcome them. One for example are the people in the public within Camden Lock. By filming in the public area the public may not appreciate being filmed and not knowing why. They may feel that they are being mocked and possibly abused by being filmed in the background of a music video. This could create problems for us as they may not want us to film in the area as they feel under pressure or just for the simple reason they do not want to be filmed. In order to overcome this, we could possibly ask the people that may walk into frame or who maybe filmed if they would like to take part in our music video, and therefore getting people that are willingly happy to get filmed instead of filming without their permission.
Another health and safety risk is by filming in a public area, there maybe too many people to film within the area. If we film there could be a risk of possible injury to cast members/filming members due to a large crowd. To overcome this, we must find an area that may not be as busy to film to reduce the risk of any injury to anybody in our filming crew or to anybody in the public, whom are our main priority. Another way to overcome this is to possibly put some sort of barrier around the area in which we are filming, possibly some cones etc to corner off and warn people that the area may cause injury due to filming. This could also give us more opportunity to film in the area without being disrupted.

This location will be used during the breaking up scenes where she is in the garden and is burning things of his and creating a large bonfire. This will be relatable to the audience because they are then able to see that the artist is going through what maybe many girls have been through or are going through. This can give a message across to the audience that the artist is going through a traumatic break up and is letting her feelings put by making a bonfire and burning things that relate to the boy. This is essential as it makes the audience feel relatable to the artist and sympathise with them as she is in a troubled situation and she feels the need to rid of anything of him (her partner). This relates to the style of our product for example being a natrual setting , for it being within a home setting it makes the narrative more relatable for the audience in the fact that it shows the artist in her own natural environemtn, making the audience see and create a more personal connection with the artist herself. This location gives the audience a insight to the artists home and also her personal life therefore again creating a more natural style to the music video and also to the artist and for her audience too.

The limitations of this location is the fact that we intend on making a bonfire so we do not want to make the bonfire out of control and cause a problem with the neighbours and disrupt their view or there could be a problem where the bonfire could get out of control and set trees on fire.
The health and safety risks that may come about is the fact that the bonfire could get out of control and could hurt and burn themselves. To avoid this we intend on keeping a safe distance from the bonfire and also keep a bucket of water and possibly a fire extinguisher near by as safety precaution and to keep the fire at bay.
The weather could also be an issue as it may rain the day that we decide to make the bonfire, it could rain and therefore make it impossible to make a bonfire, unless we make a bonfire before it rains and then use the rain to make the music video more believable and realistic. We could also protect the fire from any bad weather with better protection from the wind.
The iconography we intend on using within our music video are; a guitar, beanie hats, alcoholic drinks and cigarettes.
A bandana that we also chose to use within our music video. We chose this because many artists whether they are male of female have been seen to be wearing this in their indie music video, this is to show that they are relaxed and comfortable within their music video and not pretending to be someone that they are not but being themselves and who they are.
This is conventional within an indie music video because the use of beanie hats are used to be relaxed and to allow the artist to be who they want and to express themselves. This shows that the artist can connect with the audience not only with their music but their clothing as well.
The use of alcoholic drinks shows that the audience are having a good time maybe at a party or with someone special, or it could also show that they are trying to swallow their sadness and their feelings. This can be conventional to an indie genre as the narrative story behind most indie songs are relationship based and usually alcohol is used for the artist to drown their sorrows in the drink. Drinking alcohol can be seen as a way of being rebellious and using drink as a sort of escapism from the real world, this could apply to many different scenarios and issues arising that the characters may be going through and drinking is the only time that they could drown their sorrows and be themselves.

This can be seen as conventional to an indie genre because it is something rebellious which many people like to do. This can show the audience that the artist is rebellious by smoking with their partner. Smoking is seen as a stress reliever and could be used by teenagers and young adults to relieve stress. This is what we are trying to get across to the audience about the background life of the artist and what they are going through and what they are like. This can give an insight to the life of the artist and whether the audience are going through the exact same thing but despite doing this we are trying not to show that this is necessary.
The style within our music video is mainly narrative and performance based throughout so that we can get the lyrics to match the visuals and to help create a relationship for the audience and artist to have when in the music video. The style of the narrative will make the audience connect with the artist more as we are having a natural relationship in the narrative and also this is something that the audience could possibly relate to or want and the twist in the narrative is the abusive relationship they follow and again this could connect with the audience as they may feel sympathy towards the artist. The narrative aim is so that it can effect the audience in a way in which they could possibly connect the artist and the and the together and relate in a way they think is acceptable to the normal world, therefore making the music video relatable to the everyday moments. The performance style will be used through the use of cinematography camera angles such as long shots to show off the figure and the sexuality of the artist and the close ups to show off the natural beauty of the artist and show her talent through her singing. This will connect with the audience in a better way as due to the performance they will get to see her perform to them and they may think its only them but it also shows off her talent as a musical artist. By having a naturalistic style towards my music video it lets the audience create a more personal feel to the music video and therefore staying with the natrual and relatable style that we wanted to create within the video too.
